Scott and Guy did a great job on our ducts and vent cleaning. They also pointed out an area of concern that we will have a roofer take care of

Western team is always professional. They happily answer questions and explain maintenance work.

20:32 16 Oct 26

Gilbert was so nice and clear about what would fix my water heater, but recommended I replace it because of the age it was. He got a quote for both and completely explained the financing option.

19:39 16 Oct 26

Exceptional Service. Western had Max and Travis install my new furnace. Very professional gentleman with lots a knowledge that answered all my questions. Western also honored my original quote even though pricing went up after I decided to do the install. #1 Choice.

My wife and I had our 16 year old furnace and AC unit replaced as they were on the point of failure.Western removed both units and replaced them with more efficient models.I regret I am unable to remember their names, but they did an excellent job, not only on the replacements, but bringing the system up to code and making some improvements to the plumbing and wiring that improved the overall look of the system.Trevor and Valerie

22:42 12 Oct 26

Furnace service call. Te review of our heat system.chnician Gilbert was excellent. We erred in not havinh Western come out in 2024, so the filter was really dirty. The tech who serviced the furnace in 2023, used electrical tape to secure the filter, and that tape failed such that Gilbert had a tough time getting the filter out of its space. the Grids had fallen down and blocked the removal. Finally got the filter out and replaced. Next service call replace the filter with the newer 20 x 25 x 5 inch thick filter. Overall Gilbert was great and did a thorough job servicing our furnace.

18:48 12 Oct 26

Great job!

Thank you so much for your amazing service! My daughter and her husband had just arrived home from the hospital with their first baby when they discovered their air conditioning wasn’t working. Within an hour, a technician was at their home, and the AC was completely repaired within three hours.Louis, our technician, was professional, friendly, and genuinely shared in the excitement of welcoming their brand-new baby girl. While it may have seemed like just another service call to him, his prompt response and kindness truly made a difference for our family that day. We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional service and care he provided!

21:59 08 Oct 26

Stetson & Evin arrived at the scheduled time. They briefed us on what would happen today and immediately got to work replacing our old worn out HVAC system. They kept us updated on the progress. When they were finished they made sure every piece of trash was cleaned up. They briefed us on the operation of the new thermostat, showed us the filter and pointed out the size of any replacement filters. They ran the system through both heating and cooling cycles, verified that every part of the house was receiving the appropriate amount of air flow and last but not least they installed 2 Carbon Monoxide detectors and replaced the expansion unit on our water heaterThank to the entire team at Western Heating & Air from their initial service call, the follow-;up no pressure sales call and finally the installation crew.We will definitely call them in the future if we have any HVAC issues.

Tristin arrived within the window of time, introduced himself and explained to me what he would be doing. He kept me informed of how things were going. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the process to perform the maintenance on my heater. He answered questions I had on the thermostat and checked the heating vents in the home. Tristin also explained the different maintenance agreements so I continued to purchase the Silver agreement for next year. This was the first time that Tristin had serviced the heat/air unit and I was very pleased with his work. Tristin did a great job.

David the electrician fixed the problem did an excellent job. Highly recommend David

18:14 07 Oct 26

I'm writing to praise and commend electrician David Forbes for his invaluable help after a recent fire in the attached four-unit townhouse complex where I live destroyed one of the homes. The Boise Fire Department was on scene right away and thank goodness they were as the flames threatened the entire complex. In the immediate aftermath, the rest of us in the complex were left without power for several days as a result of the fire.I called Western Heating and Air for help and David showed up quickly. He also helped my neighbors.David Forbes was instrumental in getting power back to the other three units. He coordinated with Idaho Power and the City of Boise to get inspection of our meters. David has excellent contacts and he helped bring order to a chaotic situation.

Kaiden is a knowledgeable technician with tools I wish I had. He did a pretty thorough diagnosis and gave is an understandable explanation of our situation. Frank did a great job and hope to have him back in the spring for the A/C checkup.

17:58 30 Sep 26

Western Heating and Air are a pleasure to work with - they installed our new HVAC system and hot water heater a few years ago and were able to solve our problem with a hot second floor by reworking the ducting and putting the two floors on separate thermostats. It has been so nice!We use their Blue Ribbon program to make sure we keep up with our preventative maintenance. They call when service is due and are so easy to schedule. They show up on time, do great work and communicate everything we need to know.Love this company!

04:12 30 Sep 26

I think our technician was John. He was very respectful of being quiet so he wouldnt overly excite our dog. He explained what he was going to do and completed the maintenance and filter replacement in a timely manner.

00:38 30 Sep 26

Had to have all the duct work under our 50+ year old house replaced. The crawl space is small and it was pretty rough down there. Loman and Caleb were super conscientious. They did an awesome job, cleaned up after the job was done. The dryer duct also needed replacement. As it had been blowing lint under the house for sometime. So impressed with the job and the work ethic.

Theron and Tyler showed up and got right to work. They removed the old water heater and installed the new one in about two hours! They had us go out and they walked us though what they did and how to use the new one. They were very nice and professional! They cleaned up the area that they were working in and it looked good when they were done!

16:42 28 Sep 26

00:08 11 Sep 26

After a routine maintenance check, our technician discovered several indicators of a failing water heater. Since it was 12 years old, we had them replace the unit. They did a great job and we were pleased with their competence and quality of their service.

20:29 10 Sep 26

Followed up after my visit to ensure that I had been given all options for replacing my dual capacitor. Marissa from dispatch was knowledgeable, professional and VERY HELPFUL! She was able to adjust the price down with an adjustment in the warranty. Original price was $390 with 5 year warranty. She adjusted to $215 with a 1 year warranty, which suits us better right now.
