“You came out for maintenance. The technician called me about a repair that he recommended, which I agreed to. When I got home, the technician was gone, and I realized the following: The technician did not even test the unit. My thermostat was still set to heat, the unit outside was not turned on, as the switch was still in the off position. So I paid for maintenance, a repair, and a new filter. How do I know the filter was changed? The technician did not come into the house to check the thermostat, he did not run the unit. So how does anybody know that the unit is running properly?”
