“We deduced it was time to replace our furnace and air conditioner, even though they were still running, because of their age. We did not want to wait until a failure happened, because we would then need replacement immediately and may not have had as many options or time to think things over. The process began with a meeting with Mike, our project manager. He explained all of the options to us and we chose the models we wanted. He was very pleasant to work with. Western was able to install the new equipment as soon as we wanted. Theron and Caleb arrived right on time on the morning of installation. They were both very friendly, considerate and professional. They got to work and had everything up and running by late afternoon, with no disruptions for us. They then walked us through all the work that they did and explained the new equipment to us, including how to operate the new smart thermostat. We could not be happier with the service we received and our new furnace and air conditioner. They even filled out the rebate forms for us! We have always appreciated the service we have received from Western Hearing during the last 16 years and can highly recommend them for all heating and cooling needs!”

The charges on the call with the blue ribbon service vs. a service call were a bit confusing (to us all, I think). An email with a schedule for maintenance/service on our boiler and heat pump would be appreciated. All that said, super satisfied with our interaction.”

“Nick came to service our AC which was not performing very well on one of the hottest days of the summer (in the 100's). He was very knowledgable, conscientious and fantastic. After the diagnostic testing releaving a needed part, they came out the next morning to continue the repair. We are still working with Western Heating & Air Conditioning for a final result. Their customer service is fantastic and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone needing heat or AC repair or maintenance.”

“I must qualify my satisfaction rating. The installation was fantastic. Efficient, professional, and clean. Nicely done Daivd Carlson!

However, when the city inspector checked the equipment he was amazed that I had purchased a Carrier model that used a refrigerant that was no longer being produced.(I believe R410) This means that if I ever need R410 it may not be available and I would have to replace my entire unit with a model that uses the new refrigerant.( I believe R454?) Why was I sold an outdated unit and why wasn't I given the option to purchase the newer model that used refrigerant that is currently being produced. I believe I was sold an obsolete unit and I'm now on a slippery slope.

If I were to be asked about Western HVAC, I'd caution about being sold obsolete equipment, not being offered the latest available. Since I was blindsided, I would like to receive an official agreement from Western, that should I need R410 refrigerant in the future and it is not available that Western replace this unit with the latest and greatest at no cost to me.”
