“Gilbert was on time, called ahead, and very professional. He wore booties on his boots before entering our house and informed me of everything he was going to do. He even caught a failed expansion tank on my water heater when he wasn’t called out for that. As he was wrapping up, he was showing me some maintenance items and found a secondary filter behind the intake vent that didn’t need to be there. My wife and I didn’t know it was there and we’ve lived in this house for three years. After removing the filter and doing his maintenance, it was a night and day difference with our heater. I purchased the two service package, so come summer we will definitely ask for Gilbert to come back.”

“The initial call was to schedule a maintenance visit, but with a recurring issue of the unit failing to ignite, which I could override with a reset of the power to the unit. Western schedule a repair order for the same day, and a maintenance check-up the following week. Michael was able to fit me in within an hour of the initial call and upon the initial troubleshooting, he figured out the problem and included the maintenance work as part of the fix involved the same procedures. Michael was very professional and provided good explanations of the issue and suggestions for steps I could take to keep things running. All-in-all, everything went smoothly and I'm feeling hopeful that the recurring issue with the furnace is resolved.”

“My review is a mixed bag.
I signed up for their most expensive annual maintenance program. I like to believe the guy did what was purchased. Yet I struggle with that because there was a broken air vent in my crawl space by the furance out box. The package included vent inspection. So as to what he inspected I don't know.
It calls to question what else was half assed.
On top of that the furnance in that runs through the humidifier was closed. So the night after the service there was whistling in my vents until I reopened it.
The only reason I know of the broken 6 inch tub was because the next day following a project manager came over to give me a quote on installing insulated vents.
Look if this guy found that within 30 seconds what did the other guy do in the crawl space?
I tapped yesterday. And now want to discontinue my service I paid $550 dollars for.
To be clear I wouldn't have checked my crawl space after paying $550 for a load maintenance service. Now i feel I have to double check everything.
Did they not fix the broken tube and block the air in to make me think I need to spend 4-5k on redoing my vents? Who knows?
Not worth the price.
That aside the PM who came out to estimate was a class act and knew his stuff. Shout out to him.
