“Service was called to troubleshoot an Ecobee Thermostat that had gone offline several times in the hours since some flooring had been replaced in our home. Service was not immediately available due to it being a weekend and a lot of service calls being received by the company.
I was able to reboot the thermostat several times during the waiting period, so we were not uncomfortable.
Russ found that the furnace filter, installed in late September was, totally clogged with construction dust. He replaced the filter and checked all the wiring. The thermostat has not gone offline since.
