This is the best electricial company in Boise. Very prompt service, I appreciate the communication scheduling the appointment and then calling prior to say he was on his way and including a photo so I knew who to expect at my door. I’m renting so he wasn’t able to fix my ac, but he did contact my property manager to notify them the ac needs replaced. So hopefully they respond soon and he or someone else on the team can come back very soon to replace it.

This was a mid July a/c unit service. Terrible timing. Our system completely died. I called western heating for a diagnosis. It was more expensive for the diagnosis performed than my 2nd opinion with a competitor, But they were very thorough and prompt. We went with western because of the 18mo no interest option we qualified for. The techs have all been so great! Very friendly, knowledgeable and clean. Thank you all!

After another company said I needed a motor for my air conditioner, and would not be able to put it in for 4 days (in 100 degree heat), I called Western and Sean Wallace came right out, got the blades spinning and said it just needed a capacitor. Spencer Mullins came out the next morning and put it in, doing a very thorough and professional job. Thanks, Sean and Spencer!

David Carlson arrived on time and finished on schedule. He was very courteous and took the time to answer my questions and provide helpful suggestions. He kept areas of the house that he walked through and worked in clean. Our new air conditioner is working very well. We have had a furnace and two air conditioners installed by Western and I highly recommend them. My only complaint is the $165 I was charge to pay by credit card.

My AC and furnace needed replacement. Western Heating & Air staff were professional and knowledgeable. I was already planning to use Western since I wanted the Carrier products and they have a good reputation, but I got cost estimates from three other companies just to check. Western actually had the best price. They were able to install my HVAC just 4 days after I called them and did a great job. I am very happy with the new units and definitely recommend using Western Heating & Air.

Absolute top notch experience. Louis was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and caring as we worked through some issues with our AC and HVAC unit. He was thorough, walked us through everything as he was troubleshooting and correcting the issue, and we now have working air conditioning! I highly recommend this company to anyone!

Very pleased with how quick and easy the service was, and my dogs loved him!Josh was awesome this go around, twice!Another update 2026! Our AC crapped out after 35! years. So I met with Jason, an awesome heating consultant, who listened to our long-term goals for the house and recognized that we had solar and how we could save money.So now we have a new system outside that we can use for cool and for heat AND run off our electric aka solar. A bigger investment now but MUCH more efficient in the long run and will save us a ton in the winter since we won't need gas to heat! Plus a good warranty and a free maintenance contract! They updated the furnace setup and we have a new more efficient air filter system now too free of charge!Thanks to Stetson and Spencer as well- they were so nice and informative and went above and beyond. Western is lucky to have them. And we are very happy we chose Western as our HVAC maintenance company!

I can't express how thankful I am for their speed. Our ac went out and they came out that day to inspect it. Ken was the technician and he was so friendly and upfront with me. I knew we would have to replace everything but was hopeful maybe we didn't. He went through my entire system walked me through everything and gave us our options. We opted for a new system. He was able to get another guy to come out same day and get a free quote. After getting another quote also same day from another company I decided to go with western even though they were slightly higher. It was because of how friendly, and knowledgeable they were. They were able to get my system replaced a day later so I was only down for 2 days total. Everyone that came to my house was super friendly and helpful. I couldn't be more pleased with the service.
