“We turned on our furnace for the first time this fall season as temps have decreased locally recently. Unfortunately, the furnace did not produce any heat and we were unsure why. Our furnace is only 4 years old and we have not had any issues prior. It was critical to have a HVAC technician inspect the unit and get it running again since freezing temps were expected in the coming nights. I googled searched local HVAC companies and Western Heating and Air Conditioning was one of the many options nearby. However, the company stood out due to it having a significant amount of reviews and the reviews being positive. Upon contacting the office, I was happily surprised that they offered a technician to come out the following day. They did offer an "after hours" tech the same evening of calling but an added fee would be charged which I declined. MICHAEL LOTTS was the technician assigned to our service call. He arrived about 3-4 hours sooner than the office estimated which was awesome. Michael was professional, knowledgable and offered the customer service I was hoping for. A dead bird was discovered within the internal furnace motor components which was unbelievable. This was the cause of the furnace not operating as it should. It was explained to me how the bird made its way to the unit from lodging itself through the roof vent. MICHAEL removed some parts of the furnace and was able to extract the bird without an issue. Based on the location of the bird, etc. MICHAEL was able to get the furnace to operate again with no risk of it failing and/or me spending money on any replacement parts. We were so appreciative and got lucky with MICHAEL being the technician that was assigned to our call. He was honest and did not attempt to charge us for anything other than the service call itself. If we ever need HVAC service/repair again, Western Heating and Air Conditioning will be contacted!”
