I first met with Bryce for an estimate, and he did an excellent job explaining everything that needed to be replaced and upgraded on my tankless water heater. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and made the entire process easy to understand.On the day of installation, Travis and Max were outstanding. They were professional, courteous, and took the time to answer all of my questions throughout the installation. Their workmanship was exceptional, and it was clear they took great pride in their work.What impressed me even more was their attention to detail—they cleaned up every speck of dust before leaving, leaving the area spotless.I am extremely happy with both the experience and the final result. we had a pretty bad experience with a crock pot and an outlet in our kitchen this morning, my wife nor I are experienced with electricity. So we called western heating and air. The electrician, Jeff Costner was there for us! He was very professional and very helpful in our time of need. He gave us the answers we were looking for and resolved our issue in a timely manner. Would highly recommend Jeff and western heating and air!

From the very first consultation, Jason Guinn has always been knowledgeable, honest, and willing to find a solution that meets my needs without trying to sell me the most expensive option. I enjoy working with him because he always listens to me and explains the best options for my home. I’ve learned to trust his recommendations because I’ve been happy with everything he’s recommended.The installation crew has always been punctual, respectful, and hardworking. Today, they installed a new heat pump and auxiliary furnace. They were meticulous and clean to make certain the installation not only went smoothly, but looked good and functioned as expected. Joe did a fantastic job on my AC , he cleaned up after himself and took time to explain what he was doing. The company communicated well and he called me when he was on the way to my home. He also wore shoe covers in the house.Western is a pro company. Their techs are very well trained and their service and knowledge is top notch! Western Heating and Air has been so great to work with and they've saved us money too! When their expert technicians came out to check out our HVAC system they found problems that were covered by our warranty that was 2 weeks from expiring!! Always experienced technicians and very thorough inspections with detail on what is done. Rosemary was great finding us support as quickly as we needed. We are very pleased. Just make sure you pay immediately, or call them to make payment to avoid extra charges. They didn't tell me this, and they were able to help .

Our AC wasn't kicking on so we called Western Heating and AC. Cris came out and was super nice, knowledgeable and worked quickly. He showed me what was wrong and explained it in a way a non prof. would understand. Cris gave me all my options and broke down the pricing, no hidden fees or high pressure upselling. AC is working now and is blowing cold! Would highly recommend Western Heating and AC, especially Cris - He knows his stuff!

What really stood out to me was how he went above and beyond—he even made sure my unit was still under warranty, which I truly appreciated. I was very impressed with their technician Spencer. He did a thorough examination and servicing of my heating system. He answered all my questions and went a step further. I had a beeping on occasion in my laundry room that I couldn’t figure out. He found a water alarm on the floor in back of the water heater that needed a battery change. He literally saved my sanity. *Update*We did not receive three missed calls, a voicemail, or any text messages—despite this being the same number that received the appointment notification and had just spoken with your staff. No one in our household received any communication.A quick call or text to let someone know you’re on the way or have arrived would be sufficient. Ideally, that communication should happen before the technician leaves, not afterward.I do appreciate you getting us scheduled. Since our family is on a routine maintenance program with your company, I would expect rescheduling to be treated as a priority.It was also disappointing that the technicians did not check the floor heat as requested. Your manager reviewed the original scheduling call and confirmed to my husband that we had asked for a health report on the floor heat, but that service was not provided.We hope that customer concerns are taken seriously, as our experience has been that communication between the scheduling team and technicians has been inconsistent.Thank you.I can’t overstate how frustrating this company is to work with. It’s honestly impressive how often they fail to show up within their already very broad service windows.Today, they were scheduled to arrive between 11:00 and 2:00. I received a confirmation text and even spoke with someone that morning to check on the technician’s status. By 2:10, when no one had arrived, I called for an update, only to be told by the manager that the technician had already been there and left.What makes this even more absurd is that while I was on the phone with her, I received a text at 2:12 stating that the technician was not only on his way, but had also arrived.When I explained that I had received no prior text or voicemail and even offered to show her my messages to demonstrate the breakdown in communication, she dismissed it and insisted on relying solely on “her system.”At a minimum, customers should receive a heads-up before arrival and a notification when the technician is actually there, not after the fact. This isn’t just inconvenient; it’s a fundamental service failure that they are obviously not willing to address.

Dustin, the service technician was professional and went above and beyond the job of fixing my dryer vent, that goes outside. He got under the house and fixed the proper connections. He even put a metal plate on the wall so there wouldn't be any further problems. I would recommend Western Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone.

Bought a new build home, heat has worked great. Got warm a few times, tried to use the AC. Would kick on for a few minutes then stop. House would get warm, would not cool. Western was great about getting someone out, no issue there.First tech couldn't find what was wrong, no solution, but was told I'd get a call the next day for follow up and what his supervisor suggested. No call the next day. Got a call the say after essentially saying I don't know how to use an AC system and that I'm waiting until it's too hot upstairs, then wanting rapid cooling and I'm overloading the system.First off, we're not using the upstairs area at all and that zone is turned off. Second, on a 75-80 degree day I'm only asking the system to keep the first floor at 70... that's it. I disagreed with his sup's assessment and told him so. But his sup couldn't possibly admit there was an issue with their install. Blame it on the customer.Next day the thermostat says there's a problem with your AC system and though it's been on for hours, the temp is rising. Text a photo of that to Western, they get someone out again. Good on them for fast service.Next tech, Johnny, spends a few hours on it. Finds the voltage is cutting out, the temp sensor was installed in the wrong spot, and the control board was faulty. Doesn't sound like a customer issue to me, which is what Mark even said to Alturas after they got involved.He fixed the temp sensor, but couldn't do anything else that day, no problem. Next day I get a call saying they have a control board in stock and can take care of it today. Great! Again good service.Spencer comes out, spends a few hours here, all is working finally.Now I get they probably couldn't test the AC when it was first installed, being winter. But the first tech couldn't find the issue. Mark blamed it on me and not possibly his install, and told Alturas as much, and has yet to say my bad, I messed up... Next two techs were great. Customer Service was great.That would be it, right? Done? No. After the AC was finally running, it just kept running like the Enegizer Bunny. Set at 70, it blew down past that. Down to 67, 65, 64... wouldn't turn off at all.Called again, great customer service, got someone out again that evening. Michael did his job and found the issue. I just hope that's the last call I need to make.Even an Alturas rep that happened to be driving by stopped to ask about the constant Western vans at the house. Last night, earlier today, now...Update***Still didn't work. The first warm day we had, tried to use the AC. Nope. Wouldn't come on or cool the home. Thermostat said there's an issue an the temp keeps climbing. They were good about getting another tech out that evening, as always. Tech is working on it now... Fifth call on a new build, in less than a month.Next day another tech, tech #6... think it's FINALLY fixed and working. An issue Lloyd figured out that nobody else did.

Big Russ came over and serviced the A/C unit and flushed the hot water tank. While he was here I asked him if we could change some settings within the Ecobee thermostat. Without getting into too much detail Russ ended up calling Ecobee to help solve the issue. This is what I enjoy so much with Western is how they go out of their way to find the solution. Russ is a great guy and very good at what he does. A+++
